Biografie

Mgr. art. Veronika Lackovičová (*2000) "Laughter is the sunshine of our soul" Veronika is a Slovak theater and television actress, singer, and composer. Among other activities and appearances on the music and theater scene, she gained fame from the period series "Danube, at Your Service," which takes place during World War II in Bratislava. Veronika played the role of a Jewish woman named Ester in it. Currently, she stars in a new daytime series "Promise from the 80s," where she plays the character Suzzana. During her studies at the Academy of Performing Arts, she began to professionally engage in musicals. Her first musical project at Jan Entertainment Theater is the musical "Water and Blood Above Water," which has been continuously performed since 2017 to the present. In the musical, she played the character of the intellectual Nadi. Another significant musical project is "School of Rock," where Veronika played one of the main roles, the principal Rosalie Mullins. In "Čajočky," she played the role of Radka. In addition to television and musical projects, she has also guest-starred and performed at the Teatro Colorato theater, at the Novomešťské divadlo Bratislava, at the New Scene, and also at the Slovak National Theater, in the play Theatrical Novel. At the Astorka Theater, she played a guest role in the comedy Me and My Best Friend. "She sings, acts, concerts, dances, dubs, and devotes herself to her own creation and artistic career." "A bit of sports is also needed, she regularly goes for badminton, hiking, and rollerblading." Veronika is a graduate of the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava and the Academy of Arts in Banská Bystrica. In addition to the mentioned activities, she has already released three of her own songs reflecting her life stages: the songs Unspoken and A Tear Falls, and the piece When a Person Loves with Their Heart. Together with Armenian pianist and composer Karin Sarkisjan, they present and realize their own project, their creation, at various public and private events. They sing genres ranging from chanson, pop, work music, jazz, and more. Another active project is the monodrama Cherries for Carmen – about the life of Hana Hegerová, complemented by her chansons. This performance was created as a graduate performance and has achieved significant success among a wide audience. It has already been performed in several theaters and is still active. Veronika uses her unmistakable voice in singing as well as in dubbing, but mainly for her own singing creations and concerts, where she sings the chansons that are close to her heart.
