Kateřina Coufalová

Kateřina Coufalová is a Czech actress with a distinctive creative and musical background, a graduate of DAMU and the Prague Conservatory. She is involved in drama and alternative theater, where she combines nonverbal and physical techniques, puppetry, pantomime, and radio production. She has experience with musicals, dubbing, improvisation, and stand-up comedy, and as a performer she naturally works with movement, singing, and rhythm. She is fluent in Czech and English, has a basic knowledge of French, and has experience with German—she generally learns languages quickly and is able to "pick them up" as needed for a role or project.

Her work is distinctly original: she composes music, works with puppet and object animation, writes, improvises, and creates the concepts for her projects herself. As an actress, she is flexible, physically precise, and very creative, with a talent for storytelling with both words and body language.
