Biography

Helena Hanson Dytrtová (*January 12, 1962, Jablonné nad Orlicí) is a Czech actress, singer, voice actress, and dubbing director. She became well known for her performances in the musicals of the Ta Fantastika Theatre, appearing in productions such as ExcaliburLove Is LoveThe Elixir of LifeThe Picture of Dorian Gray, and The Lady of the Camellias. One of her favorite roles is Sister Mary Theresa in the musical Sister Act at the Karlín Musical Theatre.

In addition to her stage work, she has also appeared on television, for example in the series Dabing StreetCrime Scene: AndělMurders in a Circle, and Blue Code, as well as in the film A Bride for Paddy.

Dytrtová is among the leading Czech voice actresses and dubbing directors. She began her career at Czech Television, gradually working her way up from smaller parts to major roles. She has dubbed in series such as House M.D.The SimpsonsBeverly Hills 90210Married with Children, and Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. As a dubbing director, she has worked on films including The WhaleFaster Than DeathNorm of the North: Keys to the KingdomQueen of the Desert, and Family Heist.
