Biography

David Selecký graduated in Musical-Drama from the Church Conservatory in Bratislava and later completed his studies in Puppetry at the Academy of Performing Arts. On the Slovak theatre scene, he is known for portraying strong dramatic roles, particularly in independent productions, while also appearing as a musical theatre actor – notably at the Ján Ďurovčík Theatre Janart and on the stage of the Nová scéna theatre.

 

He is a co-founder of the independent theatre Šerosvit, where he is actively involved in both acting and original creative work. His notable television appearances include roles in the series Búrlivé víno (Stormy Wine) and Doktor Dokonalý (Doctor Perfect). In addition to his acting career, he also works as a hospital clown, combining his artistic talent with empathy and human connection.
