Branislav Hesko is an actor of small and supporting roles. He was very interested in films since childhood. He also saw a role model in his father, who was an amateur and who also starred in the film Zypa Cupak (1976). Branislav first appeared in a film in 1999, when he starred in the film Vščí moji blízcí alongside Libuše Šafránková and Josef Abrhám. He also appeared in the film Příběh rytíře, where he starred with Heath Ledger. In 2002, he appeared in the role of a Nazi soldier who captured Colin Farrell's character in the film Hart's War.
In 2018, he played the role of a postman in the film Toman, which takes place in 1945–1948 and deals with the then head of Czechoslovak foreign intelligence Zdeněk Toman and his influence on the communist coup. Branislav has also appeared in many commercials, for example for the Slovak bank VÚB, the telephone operator O2, and the discount store chain Lidl.
